Test automation & tooling manager (40 uur p/w)

Brick Parking BV is looking for a test automation & tooling manager which will be used for our client Yellowbrick International.

Yellowbrick International (YBI), based in Amsterdam (Netherlands), develops a mobile parking platform for use in both the public and private sector. Its mission is to become a global leader in the field of Mobile Parking Platforms (MPP).

YBI was created in October 2014 when Parkéon (world leader in Parking meters) and Yellowbrick (major MPP player in Benelux) decided to integrate their MPP solutions.
YBI currently has a strong focus on European and North-American markets, but also ambitions to grow business in emerging country areas.

Test automation & tooling manager

(Full-time, 40 hours a week) 

Yellowbrick International (YBI) is offering multiple mobile phone payment solutions for parking to consumers in fifteen countries. In order to keep leading the market, Yellowbrick International (YBI) is launching a project to merge the various solutions into one, keeping the best in class modules whilst removing the need to maintain different solutions. In this context, we are looking for an experienced tester, specialized in test automation and tooling.

The role of the Test automation & tooling manager is to:

  • Build an automated test infrastructure
  • Build and maintain test cases
  • Transform test cases into automated tests scenarios and enrich/maintain them over the time
  • Report about test campaign results, coverage and risks

The Test automation & tooling manager has under his responsibility:

  • Create an automated test infrastructure for a multi domain/multi languages application:
    1. Back end
    2. Web front end
    3. Mobile applications
    4. Java / spring, PHP, .NET, native apps
  • At any time, make sure that the infrastructure used for both development and automated test is available and up to date: Jenkins, GIT, Jira/Confluence, test automation tools and scripts
  • Build and update test cases
  • Transform test cases into automated tests scenarios and enrich/maintain them over the time
  • Help developers when a commit is breaking the automated tests
  • Help testers so they create themselves automated test scenarios
  • Report about test campaign results, coverage and risks


  • Minimum 5 years in test automation, experience in mobile app context is a plus
  • Minimum of Higher Vocational Education (HBO)
  • Fluent business English is a must, Dutch is a plus
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and in written
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence

Your assignment will start as soon as possible, for an minimum initial duration of 7 months. Your assignment can be moved to a permanent contract at the end of the initial period, depending on your personal performances.
